Why I Repudiate Socialism

This passage explains why I repudiate Socialism and why I believe that Socialism and Slavery go hand in hand.

One of the reasons why I thoroughly repudiate socialism is that it is a form of slavery.

If I being a homeowner pay property taxes to my local government administration for services that it renders unto the entire community such as infrastructure maintenance, policing, fire fighters, water and sewer services, etc., then as a resident, the taxes that both I and other property owners pay are revenues that in the end come back to me. That is to say that I, as a tax payer, am being properly compensated for paying them.  That is not slavery at all. So far, so good

Now, let’s say that I am paying property taxes to my local government administration, and that government administration takes that money that I paid, and just gives it out to people who have nothing to earn it such as illegal aliens who slipped into the national territory in an act of lawbreaking.  And they consume community services such as medical care.

Then, that money that I paid to the local government administration is their enslaving me.

I worked and paid taxes.

The tax revenues collected were then allocated to the community services. But the community services were consumed by illegal aliens.

A working tax payer paid money from labor that he, me, did.

The money went to community services consumed by someone illegally in the community without giving anything in return.
That pathway is an indirect way of enslaving me.

For those of who would nullify my logic, consider the passage below from someone who was both pro-slavery and a socialist, and who did equate socialism and slavery as a tag team concept.

“He argued that free labor and free markets enriched the strong while crushing the weak. What society needed, he wrote, was slavery, not just for blacks, but for whites as well. "Slavery," he wrote, "is a form, and the very best form, of socialism." 1

“Socialism proposes to do away with free competition; to afford protection and support at all times to the laboring class; to bring about, at least, a qualified community of property, and to associate labor. All these purposes, slavery fully land perfectly attains. ... Socialism is already slavery in all save the master ... Our only quarrel with Socialism is that it will not honestly admit that it owes its recent revival to the failure of universal liberty, and is seeking to bring about slavery again in some form.” 2
